• Treatment should only be carried out by a Medical Plastic Surgeon or Dermatologist.
• The duration of the treatment is 10-30 minutes.
• The results are immediately visible.
• The duration of the result depends mainly on the quality of the hyaluronic acid used as well as the skin layer in which are injected. Good quality hyaluronic acid in the wrong skin layer or poor quality hyaluronic acid will not give the expected results. The results usually last for 9-12 months but in some cases, they can last longer.
• After the treatment and for a few days the only thing one should be careful about is the pressure applied to the hyaluronic acid injection site. Neither heat nor the sun plays any role whatsoever so the treatment can be carried out at any time of the year.
Overall, the treatment with injectable hyaluronic acid is individualized and its cost is determined by the doctor following the first consultation, during which it will be discussed what the client wants. Having developed an aesthetic perception and having made an assessment based on your facial features, your doctor will help you apply hyaluronic acid to those areas of the face that need it the most, in order to achieve a perfect and at the same time natural result, highlighting the beautiful features of your face.

Hyaluronic acid removal

Besides being a nourishing molecule for the skin and the body, hyaluronic acid is also completely safe. Its safety also has to do with the presence of an enzyme that acts as an antidote to hyaluronic acid. It is called hyaluronidase and it is an enzyme that is naturally generated by skin cells and helps to decompose and destroy hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronidase is available on the market in an injectable form and should be available in every doctor’s office where hyaluronic acid injectable treatments are performed. In most cases, the guideline for the use of hyaluronidase is to use an equivalent amount of hyaluronic acid. The effect is immediate and obvious and is completed within a few days once the mild swelling that occurs is absorbed.
